Let me show you what you need to know.<br \/><br \/>Shortcuts are canned responses. You can use them instead of typing the same answer over and over again.<br \/><br \/>Here are the five main benefits of using shortcuts:<br \/>1. They improve efficiency.<br \/>2. They reduce the number of errors that you and your team make.<br \/>3. They make it easier to respond on mobile.<br \/>4. They can help you train and scale your team.<br \/>5. They ensure that everyone in your business is responding in a consistent manner.<\/p><p>There are shortcuts and there are global shortcuts. Global shortcuts are found in the \u2018Edit Profile\u2019 menu here. Global shortcuts can be used by you only across multiple properties. Only you have access to these shortcuts \u2014 no one else on your team. So you can personalize them for the way that you would like to respond.<br \/><br \/>Every member of the property has access to the other shortcuts \u2014 the ones in the Administration menu.<\/p><p>To add a new shortcut, follow these steps:<br \/>1. Click on \u2018Administration,\u2019 which is the gear icon in the upper tab menu.<br \/>2. In the left menu under \u2018Settings,\u2019 select \u2018Shortcuts.\u2019<br \/>3. Then, click \u2018Add Shortcut\u2019 in the top right-hand corner.<br \/><br \/>Remember, don\u2019t include the forward slash in the shortcut name. We recommend using all lowercase.<br \/>You can also add a new shortcut whilst you\u2019re in a chat. How efficient is that?<br \/><br \/>Here\u2019s how:<br \/>1. When you\u2019re in a chat, click the \u2018Shortcut\u2019 tab.<br \/>2. Then, click \u2018Add.\u2019<br \/>3. Add the shortcut name. Remember, don\u2019t include the forward slash.<br \/>4. Then, add the response.<br \/><br \/>That\u2019s it! You\u2019re all set up! You should feel more confident now navigating the dashboard and responding to an incoming chat. Let me show you what you need to know.<br><br>\nShortcuts are canned responses. You can use them instead of typing the same answer over and over again.<br><br>\nHere are the five main benefits of using shortcuts:<br>\n1. They improve efficiency.<br>\n2. They reduce the number of errors that you and your team make.<br>\n3. They make it easier to respond on mobile.<br>\n4. They can help you train and scale your team.<br>\n5.  They ensure that everyone in your business is responding in a consistent manner.<\/p>\n<p>There are shortcuts and there are global shortcuts. Global shortcuts are found in the \u2018Edit Profile\u2019 menu here.  Global shortcuts can be used by you only across multiple properties. Only you have access to these shortcuts \u2014 no one else on your team.  So you can personalize them for the way that you would like to respond.<br><br>\nEvery member of the property has access to the other shortcuts \u2014 the ones in the Administration menu.<\/p>\n<p>To add a new shortcut, follow these steps:<br>\n 1. Click on \u2018Administration,\u2019 which is the gear icon in the upper tab menu.<br>\n2. In the left menu under \u2018Settings,\u2019 select \u2018Shortcuts.\u2019<br>\n3. Then, click \u2018Add Shortcut\u2019 in the top right-hand corner.<br><br>\nRemember, don\u2019t include the forward slash in the shortcut name.  We recommend using all lowercase.<br>\nYou can also add a new shortcut whilst you\u2019re in a chat. How efficient is that?<br><br>\nHere\u2019s how:<br>\n1. When you\u2019re in a chat, click the \u2018Shortcut\u2019 tab.<br>\n2. Then, click \u2018Add.\u2019<br>\n3. Add the shortcut name. Remember, don\u2019t include the forward slash.<br>\n4. Then, add the response.<br><br>\nThat\u2019s it! You\u2019re all set up! You should feel more confident now navigating the dashboard and responding to an incoming chat.
